Regional Law Review - International Scientific Conference - Call For Papers 2021

The Institute of Comparative Law (Serbia), in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Pécs (Hungary) and the Faculty of Law in Osijek (Croatia) has initiated in 2020 a new international conference, Regional Law Review (RLR). The conference is devoted to current issues of legal science and practice in the European region.

The conference offers a forum for scholars who research current topics in their countries, to foster a discussion on topical issues, achievements, and tendencies in the development of legal science and to assert, through a critical review, the position the state of affairs in a particular state or in the entire region relative to European and global standards, with a view to future developments.

The organisers are pleased to announce that the second international RLR conference will be held in the second half of October 2021.

The conference aspires to be recognized as a current, relevant, and conducive for regional cooperation in the area of legal science and practice. Authors are free to choose a specific topic of their interest.

Important dates:

Deadline for submitting application form and abstract: April 15, 2021;
Notice of the acceptance of the research topic: April 25, 2021;
Deadline for submitting the research paper: September 10, 2021;
Deadline for the review procedure and notification of acceptance of papers for printing: September 25, 2021;
Conference date: second half of October 2021.
 

Working language of the conference is English.

Depending on the epidemiological situation in Serbia and the region, as well as possible restrictions on interstate travel, the conference will be held in Serbia or via the Zoom application.

There is no participation fee for the conference. In case the conference is held in Serbia the costs of accommodation for all participants, as well as meals during the conference, shall be borne by the organisers.

The participants shall arrange the transportation themselves. Transportation costs shall not be refunded.

All accepted papers shall be published in a collection of papers in late 2021.
