A kurzus feladata a szakképzés céljának megvalósításában:
The aim of the course is to explore the development of the legal, social, and economic relations of work throughout the major periods of history. Its central question is how work based on personal dependence gradually evolved into a contractual and legally regulated relationship, and how modern labour law emerged from this transformation. Students will become familiar with the forms of contracts for work in antiquity, the Middle Ages, and the modern era, as well as with the historical antecedents of contemporary labour law institutions.
