Lawyer (undivided, one-tier master's program)
The mission of the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs, is to provide students with competitive knowledge and to supply the labour market with professionals who can fully meet the 21st-century expectations placed on legal experts. The students graduating from our law schools today must be able to respond efficiently and rapidly to continuously changing legal, social, and economic challenges.
Program Objective: The objective of the program is to train legal professionals with foundational knowledge of state and legal sciences, as well as other social sciences relevant to legal practice. Equipped with an understanding of the main legal fields and institutions of the legal system, the functioning of the state, and the methods of legislation and law enforcement, graduates are prepared—by virtue of their modern expertise and legal literacy—to practice law in both the public and private sectors. With practical experience and professional continuing education, they will be qualified to fill positions requiring a bar exam.
They will be able to participate in resolving and managing economic, social, interstate, and civil sector issues within the international—and especially the European—arena. Graduates are also prepared to pursue doctoral (PhD) studies. Starting in 2019 for the full-time program, and in 2020 for the part-time (correspondence) program, a new curriculum was introduced. The goal of this curriculum is to provide our students with a more competitive, flexible education that is better aligned with the labour market. With this new curriculum, the School's leadership aims to complement the traditional, classic theoretical, historical, and substantive law subjects—which reflect the academic nature of the training—with courses that primarily enhance our students' employment opportunities while making our program more attractive to future students.

Paralegal (Higher Education Vocational Training)
The objective of the program is to train professionals with foundational legal knowledge who can assist legal experts in their work. The program is entirely online; at the beginning of the semester, students receive a complete set of electronic learning materials. To support the mastery of this material, we provide live consultation opportunities with the course instructors three times per subject.
Program Objective: A portion of the subjects in the curriculum can be credited toward specialised further education (such as the Law or Judicial Administration programs). Another group of subjects provides the specific expertise required to enable candidates to perform legal preparatory work in various legal fields (including courts, prosecutor's offices, public administration, law firms, land registries, property registration offices, etc.).

Judicial Administration Manager (BA/BSc)
Program Objective: The objective of the program is to train judicial administrators who, possessing a foundational knowledge of law (particularly procedural law), practical legal informatics, and the organisation and administration of the justice system, are qualified to participate in the preparation and execution of judicial decisions. Furthermore, they are capable of resolving independent judicial tasks and applying the law-enforcement techniques required to conduct administrative procedures.
