What is the duration of the programme?
The programme lasts three semesters (approximately 1.5 years) on a full-time basis.

What language is the programme taught in?
All courses are taught in English.

Do I need prior knowledge of European Union law?
No specific prior knowledge is required, although a background in law or related fields is recommended.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

What degree is required for admission?
Applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (typically in law or a closely related field).

STUDENT STATUS & ADMINISTRATION

Do online students receive official student status?
Yes. Students enrolled in the programme obtain official student status at the University of Pécs.

Will I receive a student ID card?
Information regarding student ID cards will be provided after enrollment, but since the programme is fully online, receiving a student card is irrelevant for the students.

DEGREE & RECOGNITION

Is the degree recognised internationally?
The degree is issued by the University of Pécs, a state-accredited institution of higher education in Hungary and the European Union, so the answer is yes.

Will the diploma state that the programme was completed online?
Details on diploma wording follow university regulations; the degree itself represents completion of an accredited master’s programme; the type of study will not appear on the diploma.
