An international conference on the legal issues of the pandemic will be held in Pécs

The Faculty of Law of the University of Pécs is organizing an international conference on the legal problems and tasks of the epidemic situation.

The aim of the conference is for the lecturers of the Faculty of Law of Pécs and the lecturers of the foreign partner universities to present the research results of the past year and the reactions of jurisprudence to the pandemic situation.

The online conference will take place on 8 April 2021, with an English-language program in the morning to discuss exciting international topics such as restrictions on the free movement of persons or freedom of expression in a pandemic and the interpretation of the EU's internal borders during a pandemic.
The international part of the conference also includes the enforcement of minority rights and central bank measures.
During the afternoon, Hungarian-related topics will come to the fore, such as changes in criminal procedure, public finances, and social security law.
It will also be a question of whether we are at the last minute, whether it is necessary to take legal action to address the problem of the living environment.
