Freedom, Security and Justice 2024 - international teaching programme at the Pécs Law Faculty

Between 22-26 April 2024, the Centre for European Research and Education once again hosted the international educational programme "Freedom, Security and Justice - Crossing Borders", an English-language event organised by the University of Pécs Faculty of Law. The event focused on the most topical issues of justice and home affairs cooperation in the European Union. Besides the University of Pécs, the event was attended by 30 students and six lecturers from three other European universities (InHolland University of Applied Sciences, London South Bank University, University of Ulster). During the week, the students worked in international working groups on their research topics under the supervision of the lecturers, and successfully presented the results of their research not only in written form but also in the form of a presentation on the final day of the event. At the host institution, dr. Ágoston Mohay, dr. István Szijártó and dr. Mátyás Kiss were involved in the organisation and implementation of the programme.
