Freedom, Security and Justice - international teaching programme at the Faculty of Law in Pécs

Between 20-24 March 2023, the Law Faculty of the University of Pécs once again hosted the international teaching programme ‘Freedom, Security and Justice - Crossing Borders’, organised by its Centre for European Research and education.

The event focused on the most topical issues of justice and home affairs cooperation in the European Union was attended by 30 students and six lecturers from three European universities (InHolland University of Applied Sciences, London South Bank University, University of Ulster) besides the Pécs Faculty of Law. Following international lecturers, the students worked on their pre-defined research topics in thematic working groups under the supervision of the lecturers, and successfully presented the results of their research not only in written form, but also as presentations on the final day of the event. 

From the Law Faculty of the University of Pécs, dr. Bence Kis Kelemen, dr. Ágoston Mohay, dr. István Szijártó and dr. Jorn van Rij were involved in the organisation and implementation of the programme.
