Erasmus+ Guest Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Pécs

In September and October 2026, Dr Jan Stajnko, Assistant Professor at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, visited the Faculty of Law of the University of Pécs under the Erasmus+ staff mobility programme.

During his visit, Dr Stajnko delivered an independent course entitled European Criminal Law, Digital Platforms and Media Regulation, addressing current issues in European criminal law, digital platform governance and media regulation. He also contributed to other courses offered at the Faculty, including teaching on the Laws of War.

The visit formed part of a long-standing institutional partnership between the University of Pécs and the University of Maribor. The two institutions have maintained a mobility agreement for several years, providing a framework for strengthening academic and educational cooperation. Their collaboration is further supported by regular participation in each other's academic conferences and mutual assistance in organising scientific events.

The guest lecturer's visit contributed to the further development of the Faculty's international relations, the promotion of an international perspective among students, and the continued internationalisation of teaching.
