Mr. Dipl.-Jur. Samir Felich is currently a PhD candidate in public  international law (human rights law and law of armed conflict) and  works as teaching and research assistant at the Institute of Eastern  European Law of the University of Cologne.

His research areas are  Human Rights Law, International Law of Armed Conflict, Public  International Law, but he is also interested in international investment law and alternative dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration). He teaches undergraduate courses in constitutional law,  administrative law and is involved in the project management for the  “School of German Law in Gdańska, Poland. He graduated in law with the  First State Exam from the University of Cologne in 2012.

Between his graduation from high school and before his law studies he served more  than two years as reserve officer within the Medical Corps of the German Armed Forces
